St Mary’s PTA is a voluntary organisation and an association of which ALL parents and guardians of children attending St Mary’s School (nursery and primary) as well as its teaching staff, are effectively members. Committee members are entitled to attend meetings and vote on proposals and we encourage all members to make suggestions for raising funds.
St Mary’s PTA is a registered charity and is an organisation run solely by volunteers which works solely to raise funds for the school, primarily by staging fundraising events, which are used to purchase additional resources which are not available within the standard school budget.
The PTA Committee always welcomes and encourages new members, to ensure there is a breadth of representative opinions from all 7 year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skill sets and experience of our parents and staff.
Meeting new people, knowing more about what goes on in St Mary’s, having a say in how money should be allocated, and making a difference to the pupils experience at St Mary’s are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with our PTA.
If you would like any other information regarding the PTA, are interested in joining the committee or have suggestions or ideas about fund-raising, please do not hesitate to contact any of the PTA Committee or alternatively drop a note into the school office for the attention of the PTA.
If you are able to volunteer please enter your details, as whatever help you can give is much needed and appreciated.
We look forward to your support over the coming year.
